 Play Frontier would not be possible without our community partnerships. A huge thank you to all those who have helped us, and who have believed in our mission- “Conserving childhood, through acceptance, education, and empowerment of children and families”

Recently Play Frontier applied for a grant and was accepted by United Way of the Columbia Gorge (UWCG). UWCG is a non-profit, local agency that supports non-profit human service programs in HOOD RIVER, WASCO, SHERMAN, KLICKITAT and SKAMANIA Counties.  Rather than supporting just one person or one charity, UWCG unites individuals and combines resources to spread the funds across the entire Columbia Gorge-- providing a community safety net while also catalyzing community change. UWCG believes in uniting local people and supporting local people. So far, Play Frontier is one of 27 local programs receiving funds in 2023. Play Frontier plans to use funds to further enrich our current childcare program, and to help grow our infants room, and elementary summer school camp. We are so grateful to be partnering with United Way and support all they do for our local communities. Thank you, United Way!
